Matthew Fairbank
Born and raised in southern New Jersey, Matthew Fairbank holds aBachelor of Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design. Uponreceiving his degree, he landed a job in New York City working as aninterior designer with Strarwood Hotels and later contributed to theformation of the modern children's furniture company ducduc.
Matthew Fairbank currently resides in Bushwick, Brooklyn. His workblends traditional materials and techniques of fabricating with amodernist aesthetic. The resulting works are both durable and anexpression our times. They embody a newfound consciousness forsustainability and craftsmanship.
